She allowed me, Timmy G, Really Doe & Arrow Starr to get out the hood & come to her house to get out our dreams @ an early age when even our own family members thought we were crazy for wanted to make music! Without her ain’t no tellin’ how we would of ended up! God blessed us with her presents and in return we gave the world a peace of our world! This is an early recording from the group then known as “The Outfit” from 1996. It was produced by a young Kanye West & featured a young GLC, Timmy & Arrow Starr. Kanye lends his vocals on the hook. Yo GLC congrats on your project finally jus want the people to know a little His-troy on the Outfit & 87th. U can’t meation 87th without “Verbally Diseased” & “THe Chicago Outfitter” that being said we ran 87th and the whole southside in the late 90’s & New 2000 check the bookz. This in no way is a dis this is jus the factz. The reason why they changed thier name from The Outfit to Go-Getters is because we had it first and they didn’t want no problems. Needed to say that because we don’t get it like we deserve. R.I.P PEDRO VD for LiFE
